Ponytail Repo Audit
Audits a repo like a senior dev who just inherited it: bugs, security holes, load risks, untested code, and what to delete, ranked.
Works with
What it does
- Maps README, deploy config, dependencies, entry points, and tests first
- Assumes an expected load and traces data flows end to end
- Ranks by correctness, safety, load, tests, speed, then leanness
- Changes nothing and reports in plain English
When to use it
Use it when inheriting an older project or doing a whole-repo health check before launch.
How to install
- Run the command below in your terminal. Pick the agents you use (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, Copilot, and more) and it installs into the right folder.

- To install manually, download the
ponytail-auditskill folder from the GitHub repository and copy it into your agent's skills folder, such as~/.claude/skills/or.cursor/skills/. - Ask your agent for a related task and the skill is used automatically.
